"Wait, you paint at the actual wedding?"
Explore some of the most frequently asked questions and misconceptions about live wedding painting.
If you do not find the answer you are looking for, please get in touch here.
Do you paint at the actual wedding?
Yes! Live on the day! You & your guests will see it go from a blank piece of paper to a fully formed portrait. Find out more about my working timeline here.
Do you finish the painting on the day?
Not completely, no, however the foundations for your portrait will be laid and you'll get a real feel for what your portrait will look like, and you should be able to recognise yourself. Check out this blog post for comparisons between the end of the night and finished paintings.
How long will I have to wait to receive my finished portrait?
Please allow up to 12 weeks following your wedding for final edits and framing to be completed.
How far do you travel?
Up to 50 miles travel is included in the prices listed. Anything further is charged at 45p per mile from my studio address. For locations more than 150 miles, there may be extra charges to cover accommodation. This will all be discussed prior to confirming your booking.
Can I book you as a gift for a loved one?
Yes absolutely! I have painted lots of couples that didn't know I was even coming to their wedding. Enquire here and let me know who you want to give this experience as a gift to.
Can you add in other family members to the painting?
My focus is solely on the couple as it's important to me that I capture your love, connection and your day.
I need to change my date - is this possible?
If you wish to transfer your booking to a new date, please let me know as soon as possible so I can check my availability.
If I am unable to accommodate your new date, and it's more than 6 weeks before your wedding, your deposit will be refunded.
